Live in the Present

The condition of your mind directly affects your body, we hold our issues in our tissues.  If the body is not in good condition it will affect functioning and capacity of the mind.  To maintain the health of both you must live in the moment.  The body and mind can only be in one place at a time.  By not dwelling in the past or spending all your time contemplating the future you free up the mind to be in the here and now.  When in the present, you are able to experience your day to day interactions fully and deeply.  You make better decisions, conversations with others become more meaningful and your actions more deliberate.  Living in the present moment allows you to be more aware of your body.  That heightened awareness will ensure that you acknowledge and listen to your body.  Is it hungry?  How does it feel when you eat this or that?  Tired?  Your senses of taste, touch, smell, sight and hearing will be heightened as the distractions in the mind are eliminated.  Increase the quality of your experiences, live in the present.
