You live your life day by day. You experience, you learn, you make mistakes. Others do the same. Do not speak poorly of others. Spreading rumors and gossiping can call your integrity into question. If you do not have anything nice to say, keep quiet. When you see another person in a tough situation, be supportive. Keep your words constructive and focused on the issue. Be strong enough to take the high road.
