In our efforts to keep the people around us safe, we can be holding them back. Life is for living, exploring the experience. Be supportive. Be near. By doing for them, we can hinder their growth and prevent them from reaching their full potential. By thinking for them, they will never develop the strength in their own convictions. Even the brightest flame will go out if it cannot get enough air. Don't keep the ship in port, let it sail.
