A keen sense of humor helps us overlook the unbecoming, understand the unconventional, tolerate the unpleasant, overcome the unexpected and outlast the unbearable.
~Billy Graham
When life gets stressful and you run into a tough situation, have a chuckle. If you are thrown off course by the unexpected or something doesn't turn out as planned, go ahead and laugh. Find humor in even the most challenging of moments. Studies have shown that when you laugh your breathing and heart rate increase, your blood pressure goes down and your body releases endorphins. Even after the laughing stops that relaxed, happy feeling stays with you. There is an old saying that laughter is the best medicine. Try it out, have a laugh.
