Look Inside

The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant.  We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
~Albert Einstein

As we grow up we condition the mind to make decisions that make sense.  Through repetition we train our rational minds to be, well, rational.  We learn to produce answers by using logic.  We demand to be shown in order to believe.  We are rewarded with grades and diplomas that celebrate the faithful servant that is the rational mind.  But what of intuition?  As a society we tend to discount and push aside our own intuitive feelings, if we can still hear them at all.  Yet, we joke about children and animals being able to tell if a someone is a good person, if a situation is safe or a change in weather is coming.  What do they know that we do not?  They know what they feel.  They recognize and trust those feelings.  The Latin word 'intueri' translates as "to look inside" or "to contemplate".  Intuition is gift that we all have.  Go take yours down from the shelf and unwrap it.  You will be amazed at what you'll find when you look inside.
