It is Possible

What is harder than rock, or softer than water?  Yet soft water hollows out hard rock. Persevere.  ~Ovid

Taken at face value, many things may seem impossible.  Would you have believed that a river had carved out the Grand Canyon just by judging the obvious qualities of rock and water?  And yet it happened.  Very rarely is something done the first time it is attempted.  How many tries did it take you to ride the bike for the first time?  To dance the steps or repeat the poem?    Keep in mind that things are not always as challenging as they seem.  We practice to become better at sports, hobbies and recreational activities, but seldom apply the principal of practice to our careers, families and aspirations.  Every interaction with another person, the project at work, traveling the path to your goals...it's all practice.  So persevere, it is possible.
