Modern society has a fascination with identifying, studying and controlling the forces of nature.  It is a common misbelief that if we can understand and harness these forces that we become godlike.  Many believe that this will enable us to control our destinies and the world around us.  The true path to enlightenment does not involve exerting our will on external forces.  We need to look within ourselves.  To share our lives, love and laughter with others.  The faster and more meaningful approach to changing the world is to teach this to others and encourage their involvement.  Discover that fire within yourself.
