What You Do With What You Have

Just because something doesn't do what you planned it to do doesn't mean it's useless.
~Thomas Edison

We invest time, energy and resources on a regular basis to achieve specific goals.  Occasionally, the results come out extremely different than we had in mind.  We take the fuzzy caterpillar and put it in the best tank, feed it the best food and diligently work to have the best caterpillar possible.  Even with carefully laid plans and straightforward intentions we will one day wake up to find the caterpillar has turned into a butterfly.  When things turn out differently that you had planned, remember it does not mean that the process or the actual results have no value.  It's all about what you do with what you have.
