Appreciate The Now

Yesterday is ashes; tomorrow is wood.  Only today does the fire burn brightly.
~Inuit Proverb

Each day happens one minute at a time.  Once a minute passes, it is behind us.  How many minutes have been let to pass us by?  Are the minutes spent dwelling on the past?  Yesterday is gone, over, finished.  Are the minutes spent obsessively planning the future?  Tomorrow is not yet upon us and the best laid plans can be thwarted by unknown variables that arise.  But the Today, this moment...the Now you are experiencing is what's real.  The Now you can touch, smell, taste, create, feel emotion.  As you are in the moment, acknowledge the moment, learn from the moment then let it go and move onto the next.  Add those learnings to your cache of experiences for reference.  Allow each minute to be all that it can be and yourself to reach your fullest potential.  Appreciate the Now and let Your fire burn brightly.
